The purpose of Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote business and welfare, and to guide the further expansion of the Auburn Area toward the ultimate of goal of developing an attractive area for residents, industry, and business in which they can live and prosper.  This mission is done with the help of the business leaders, many activities and events that are held in our community.


     The Chamber plays a major role in the following events:


• Adopt-A-Highway – The Chamber is involved in the upkeep of  2 miles of US-10, done three times a year.


• Auburn Cornfest – A festival that brings people to our area to enjoy rides, games, music, fishing, softball, and more.


• Auburn Treasure Hunt Days - The Chamber sponsors this 3 day community wide garage sale, and supplies area businesses with advertising in surrounding areas, and visitors with maps listing each sale destination.


• Auburn Area Chamber Golf Outing – This event is hosted with the help of area businesses.  This activity helps defray the cost of the Auburn Fireworks displayed during the Cornfest.


• The Miss Auburn/Midland Area Scholarship Program – Sponsored by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.


• Make a Difference Day -  Beautifying Auburn yearly by planting flowers, trees, etc.


• Santa’s Fun Fest -  Auburn Area Chamber sponsors this event.  All members of the community are invited to attend this Christmas tradition.  Games and refreshments are served as well as a host of other activities for children, which include a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.  There is no charge to attend this event.  At this time food is collected for  our food pantry.


• Scholarship Programs – Auburn Chamber gives out 3 Youth Educational Scholarships and sponsors Miss Auburn and the Midland Area Scholarship Program.


• Annual Appreciation Dinner – A “themed” evening for members, during which the installation of new officers takes place and various awards are presented.

• Business After Hours hosted by area business members every other month.

• Free Advertising in our monthly newsletter. (Once a year per chamber business)
