Auburn Chamber of Commerce Scholarships

You will now be able to apply by mail or online for the AAOC Scholarship. You can complete our online scholarship form information, upload the information required, and submit your application. The deadline for your application is March 31.


Eligibility

In order to apply, you must be:

  • A dependent of a small business owner/franchisee OR
  • An employee of a small business owner/franchisee who works at least 10 hours a week

Selection Criteria

  • Academic achievement
  • Community service
  • Financial need
  • Recommendation of Auburn Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee
  • First consideration given to Chamber of Commerce Members

Application Requirements

  • Application form. This form must be printed or typed. Do not staple the attachments to this form.
  • An official copy of your current high school or college transcript. It must include your GPA.
  • Two letters of recommendation. They must be from someone not related to you and must address your qualifications relating to the selection criteria. These letters must be signed and sent in directly to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.
  • Short (100 word) essay that briefly explains why you would be a worthy recipient of the scholarship.

Deadline

Applications will be accepted starting December 1 and must be postmarked by March 31. No fax or e-mail applications will be accepted.
